One of the ways of solving of this task is using of hydroelectric drive of the mechanism of the crystallizer swinging, which allows to vary frequency and amplitude of swinging and also to change the principle of crystallizer. In the work there is presented the improved mathematical model of the crystallizer swinging mechanism in the form of the automatic control system, using of which one can investigate the influence of different parameters of the system on quality and productivity of the machines of the slugs continuous casting.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Кель Н., Лонарди Э., Шерген П.
