Короткий срок службы крупногабаритных водоохлаждаемых силовых кабелей в электродуговых печах создает эксплуатационные трудности. Простои и мероприятия, связанные с заменой кабелей, приводят к большим экономическим потерями. Частое техническое обслуживание кабелей короткой сети подвергает персонал и оборудование предприятия рискам, связанным с безопасностью. Инженеры, оперативный и обслуживающий персонал должны изучить причины выхода из строя водоохлаждаемых кабелей и то, как современные инженерные решения направлены на продление срока их службы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article examines the main causes of failure of large-section water-cooled cables (1600 to 6000 mm2) for electric arc furnaces. The short service life of large water-cooled power cables in electric arc furnaces creates operational challenges. Downtime and cable replacement procedures result in significant economic losses. Frequent maintenance of short-range cables exposes personnel and plant equipment to safety risks.
