VACUUM INDUCTION FURNACE, RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
Abstract
It is shown that vacuum melting of metals and alloys in induction furnaces enables to reduce considerably the content of gases and quantity of nonmetallic impurities, to provide high uniformity and density of ingot.
