Abstract

Options for reducing casting defects, such as shrinkage and gas defects in the preparation of aluminum alloy and the manufacture of critical castings by high-pressure casting, having thickened isolated places during crystallization, are considered. The technology of alloy preparation and the influence of technological parameters of casting production on the formation of shrinkage and gas shells are presented.
