THE PROCESSES OF THE LIQUID METAL AND THE MOLD CORE INTERACTION DURING THE FORMATION OF THEINTERNAL CAVITY OFTHE CASTING

Abstract

The analysis of the relation of physical-mechanical and chemical processes occurring in the metal-core contact area with perfection factors of the mold core is presented. The nature of interrelation of these processes with the formation of dimensional accuracy, geometric relationship, roughness and absence of defects on the internal surface of the casting is defined.
