CONTINUOUS CASTING OF EUTECTIC STRUCTURALSUPERFINE INGOTS OF SILUMINS WITHOUT APPLICATION OF IMPURITY MODIFIERS
Abstract
It is shown that continuous horizontal casting with application of jet crystallizer and arrangement with flooded – jet repeated cooling enables to produce ingots of eutectic silumin with superfine microstructure without application of impurity modifiers.
