Requirements for illustrations and adware

Resolution raster file in the RGB color model and the CMYK (formats TIFF, PSD, JPEG) should be 300 dpi. If the image data represented in the model Grayscale, Bitmap (gray, black and white), their resolution should not be menee600 dpi. Do not use not intended for printing of file formats such as BMP, GIF, TGA and other.

Bitmap file format with true given resolution in dots per inch should be 100 per cent in the same format with which it will be printed. Various scaling and transformation programs usually give the worst results (and the abuse is usually a sign of "bad" tone). Unacceptably strong increase in the size of the raster file (more than 50-70 percent of the original size), since it will lead to deterioration of image sharpness. Log Format 210x297 mm to cut. If the background pattern must completely fill the page of the log, the size it should be at least this size. Informative text elements should not go beyond the size 190´277 mm.

The magazine is printed in 4 colors, so there should be no custom color. If you go from the RGB color model in CMYK, you should not normally use the total amount of paint, more than 300-320 percent (parameter Total ink).

If near the edges of the image are virtually colorless areas, such as, for example, bright light clouds or sun glare, it is advisable to have the whole picture in a thin "technology" framed dark color to avoid the appearance in print of "holes" on the edges of the image.

It is not recommended to print fine features, such as fine lines with a thickness of about 1 and less than or item placed text blocks with a size of less than 8 text items, printing using two or more colors. Those elements are not recommended to print "vyvorotki", ie in white on a colored background composite.

Text blocks in vector graphics (Illustrator, CorelDraw), it is desirable to convert to curves or provide used in the fonts.

It is desirable to use "coating" the 100% black, with the proviso that they are visually opaque. Check the attributes of "Overprint Fill / Stroke", and, if necessary, install them in the ON position.

Trapping quantity should generally be from 0.15 to 0.3 pt.

Recommended formats for storing vector data - AI, PS / EPS, and PDF.

99.9 per cent of all 100 existing publishers are reluctant to take the job if they were made in packages such as CorelDraw, or, worse still, in programs such as Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint. Therefore, when working with publishers, likely of those packages will have to forget. Advertising may be provided in the format of InDesign, but first it needs to be put together, "pack" means the program itself.

Advertising: Cover. 1st p. - Width 215 mm, height 225 mm; 4th page. - Width 215 mm, height 283 mm; in - width 215 mm, height 300 mm. Advertising in the magazine. Width 210 mm, height 297 mm. Prior to cutting. Edge magazine bleed 5 mm is taken into account. Please be overtaken informative advertising elements from the edge of the cut for at least 5 mm !!!
