It is shown that at manufacture of metal cord of compact constructions there is a possibility to control by various processing methods the inclination of metal cord layers to migration.
Researches of the most often occurred surface defects of rolled wires, their modification at drawing and influence on technological process and quality of cold-drawn wire with regard to working conditions of hardware shops of BMZ are presented.
The influence of bainite structure on mechanical characteristics of wire of steel 80 after patenting is studied. The quantity and structure state of bainite, providing high complex of mechanical characteristics of high-carbon wire, is determined.
The purpose of the present work is research of influence of the technological factors, changing the elasticplastic state of twisted product, on stability within time of residual torsions and straightness of metal cord.
It is shown that research of impurities on wire surface with the help of optical microscope after chemical bleed of covering enables to define type of pollution, character of their arrangement on wire surface, and also to eliminate the reason of their formation.
The results of investigations showed that using of additional application of copper by means of wire cooling after diffused application of brass covering yielded positive results.
It is shown that at twisting of wire of diameter 1,83 mm, produced by direct wire drawing of thermomechanically processed rolled wire of diameter 5,5 mm of steel 90, metal stratification is completely eliminated at decrease of carbon, manganese and an additional alloying of chrome.
There are results of researches of the mechanical properties and structure of the wire rod made of low-carbon nickel molybdenum steel after reduction to toughness thermomechanical treatment in the stream of high-speed wire mill.
The X-ray diffraction methods of qualitative and quantative analysis of phase composition of the brass coating, scale on the surface of brass wire, rod, patented wire, methods of determining the characteristics of the microstrains the lattice ferritic matrix pearlitic high-carbon steel, are explored.
The algorithm for mathematical description of the pearlitic steels microstructures is offered. It is shown that the mathematical models of microstructures, constructed with use of frequency distributions of eutectoid colonies of pearlitic steels by inter-plate distances, enable to estimate the degree of microstructure heterogeneity.
The experimental testing of application of fully magnesia casting ladles is carried out with the purpose of reduction of high-carbon steel contamination with nonmetallic impurities. Methods of appraisal of nonmetallic impurities and choice of their rating criteria are analyzed.
The results of investigation of chemical descaling at different temperatures of coil formation both for lowand high-carbon rolled wire are given.
The nontraditional technology of scale removal from the high-carbon wire surface by means of mechanical scalebreaking with electrolyte-plasma post-treatment is developed and tested.

It is shown that decrease of plasticity of high-strength wire at big total cobbings is connected with reduction of mobility of dislocations in the substructure formed at loss of perlite lamellar structure.
Using of new arrangement of finishing train of block structure with divisibility of deformation and system of inter-block control of the semi-finished rolled products temperature enables to decrease disorder of mechanical properties, to reduce the depth of the decarbonized layer.

Influence of a forward tension is theoretically investigated at a rolling of the periodic profiles used as elastic elements of spring suspension brackets. The power balance of rolling process with a tension is analyzed. Dependences for definition of a critical corner and size of its increment are received at a rolling with a forward tension.
Mistakes of an operator at quantitative analysis of microstructure at working in the program of images processing Image SP are considered. The mistake arising at the stage of creation of the calibration table of increases is defined.
In this paper, a model describing the mechanism of hardening steels in a pulsed magnetic field is provided. The model is based on the consideration of induction currents in the grain bulk ferrite, on the surface of the workpiece near the inductor. The influence of doping efficiency of the process of hardening is established.
The article is dedicated to carrying out of investigations on creation of new structures of die steels for stabilization of instrument for cold forming operation of metals and alloys.
