The peculiarities of alumunizing of non-resisting insert at production of piston castings of aluminium alloys are considered.
It is shown that continuous horizontal casting with application of jet crystallizer and arrangement with flooded – jet repeated cooling enables to produce ingots of eutectic silumin with superfine microstructure without application of impurity modifiers.
The technology of the structure heredity improvement, which is a perspective and efficient way of improvement of the silumins ingots characteristics, is developed.
It is shown that continuous horizontal casting of alloy AK18 into jet crystallizer with application of flooded – jet systems of ingot cooling and hereditary modifying enables to create ecologically safe technological process of production of alloy AK18 ingots in diameter of 40 mm with dispersion of eutectic silicon crystals less than 20 mm.
The calculation of activity and pressure of magnesium vapour in melts Ni-Si-Mg-Fe and Cu-Si-Mg-Fe in metal systems at constant magnesium contents 6, 10, 14 и 18 mas.% and temperatures 1350 and 1450 °С is carried out in this work.
It is shown that for reaching of maximal effect of mo difying of alloy AK18 structure it is necessary to use super fine aluminium modifier AlSi12Sb15Ti5 in the quantity of 0,1% of melt mass or AlSb5Ti3 at the quantity of 0,5%.

It is shown that the new turbulent way of casting of slip bearings not only removes liquating heterogeneities and qualitatively improves morphology of intermetallides in babbit B83, but also extends the possibilities of its application.

Metallurgy
The investigations on rational placement of burner devices in reheating furnaces with mechanized sole at the example of reheating furnace of mill 850 of RUP “BMZ” and determination of their force in dependence with grade assortment and slugs dimension types are given.
The peculiarities of influence of microalloying with boron on strain ageing of rolled wire of steel SV-08G2C are shown.
Investigation of softening of strong-deformed highcarbon steel with different content of carbon at speed heating in low-temperature field is carried out.
Influence of temperature-temporal parameters of thermal treatment on changing of structure and characteristics of carbon chrome-molybdenum steel is studied. It is shown that there are considerable areas with granular morphology of cementite in metal structure after high-temperature tempering, what provides lowering of microhardness of steel by 25%, and after medium-temperature tempering there are no essential structural changes.
The task of mastering of bar production of bearing steel grades including steel 55SMFA was set to RUP «BMZ» in connection with increase of import-substituting bar steel grades. Satisfactory quality of metal-roll is achieved as a result of mastering of production technology of hot-rolled section iron.
It is shown that improved regime of thermostrengthening of fittings No 14, 16 of class 500 enabled to improve the mill 350 efficiency without worsening of the finished rolled metal quality and to reduce the power inputs for production of this type of products.
