The mechanisms of occurrence of thermal stresses and deformations in bearing rollers of machines of the slugs continuous casting and are investigated and new methods of increase of their durability are offered.
Analysis of deformations and stresses in cross section of sorted uninterruptedly-casted slugs at their solidification and cooling within limits of crystallizer with the aim of determination of possibilities for occurrence of internal cracks of diagonal type is carried out on basis of mathematical modeling, the peculiarities of the slug skin cooling at its shrinkage and separation from crystallizer wall are revealed.
In article the work of a line on manufacture of an aluminum rolled wire by a method of continuous casting is considered. The cooling conditions influence of an aluminum rolled wire on an output from the rolling mill on its strength is investigated.
Computer-aided design of foundry production
The algorithmic schemas allowing to increase the degree of automation of design efforts aimed at development and improvement of the castings production technology are offered. The offered schemas are described for one of industrial castings.
The influence of number of the multinuclear computer system SKIP processes on acceleration and period of modeling of metal filling and crystallization process in industrial molds is shown. The data are presented on the basis of calculations of the modeling system ''Prolit-IC of several industrial castings produced at ОАО ''MZOO”
Analysis of modem methods of the pictures processing automation is presented. The ways of machinery determination of such defects as center segregation, liquating striations and cracks and development of algorithms of macro-and microstructures of alloys of industrial production process are shown at the example of the task of processing of macrostructure of template of industrial production slugs.
The calculations of hydrodynamic characteristics of steel in liquid cup of uninterruptedly-casted ingot are examined. The influence of argon blow on the steel circulation in crystallizer is shown.
The numerical modeling of the melt flowing processes in crystallizer and liquid pool of steel is carried out. The constructive decisions f or organization of the melt rotation in crystallizer are given.

The laboratory-scale plants for production o f standard measuring samples of sand and core blends developed by N P RUP ''Institute BelNIIlit'’ for the processes of cores and molds production in heated and non-heated accessories are presented.
Influence of thermal processing on structure and characteristics o f economically-alloyed high-duty cast iron is shown.
The role of closed air gates at casting by gasified models of non-casting polystyrene in the process of castings defects elimination, connected with creation of non-gasified products of polystyrene thermodestruction, is studied.
It is studied alloying kinetics o f cast-iron through a slag phase. The reducer and cast-iron chip additives into slag composition were demonstrated to accelerate a process of nickel transition from slag to metal.
The methods of correction of rejected limits of automated control line and automated sorting on processibility of unturned nipple castings of malleable cast iron KCh 30-6 on the basis of devices M axi-P is developed and implemented in production of Minsk plant of heating equipment.

The receipt of complex oiling component, used for greasing of moulds for casting under pressure of aluminiun alloys on the basis of high-molecular organosilicon polymers with addition of soap stocks of light vegetable oils as filling agent and stabilizer of emulsion is examined.
The investigations of environmental safety of different lubrications for moulds for casting under pressure of aluminium alloys are carried out. The method of carrying out of experiments on determination of harmful substances, escaping from lubrication in the process of destruction, is described.
Science of materials
The reasons of unsatisfactory’ quality of balls of steel ShH15 produced by Minsk bearing plant (MBP) are analyzed. The comparative analysis of structure of the balls produced at MBP and VBP, enterprises of Poland is carried out.
The article is dedicated to investigations connected with registration of temperature on the surface of rod articles received in the process of high-speed extrusion with cladding of end part. The results of investigations on determination of surfaces of temperature depending on the oscilloscope beam deflection are given.
DIscussion
It is shown that efficiency of modification of hypoeutectic and eutectic silumin is connected with processes of refining of melts from soluted and molecular hydrogen.
It is shown that efficiency of hypereutectic silumin is determined in general by deoxidizing ability of modifiers.
The influence of the heating temperature at testing on mechanical characteristics and durability of the samples of plates of melt B23 is investigated.
