Analysis and complex of measures, carried out in ESPTs-1 with the purpose of improvement of the main technical and economic indexes of blast steel furnace operation is given.
It is shown that using of forcing dies at RUP «BMZ» for high-speed wire drawing in regime of hydrodynamic friction improves the quality of lubrication, and correspondingly fastness of dies incl. finishing ones is increaswd.
It is shown that implementation o f corporate management system will enable RUP «BMZ» to increase efficiency of management thanks to purposeful corporate policy carrying out, fulfilling of mission and strategic aim of enterpricse.
One of the terms of the product market expansion is production on its compliance with the requirements of standards and norms of those countries? where the works supplies its production. The certificates received for production of RUP «BMZ» are given.
It is shown that developed and implemented technology of production of multistrand rolled reinforcing hardened rod of periodic profiles No 16-20 allows to produce output of high quality at increasing of capacity of mill 320.
Mathematical model and results of calculation analysis on determination of influence of ‘'soft squeezing” on degree of axial chemical heterogeneity(distribution of carbon, sulfur and manganese) in billets, produced by means of continuous casting, are given.

Foundry
It is shown that at production of big steel castings “Beam ” and ‘'Frame ” under new technology labor intensiveness is reduced, eliminating defect by hot cracks.
The advantages and restrictions of the optical copying of inner surfaces with lightguide way systems are analyses.
It is shown that the used bismuth-molybdenum catalyst can serve as an effective additive in composition of the complex malleable cast iron modifier, which allows to reduce the cost of modifier and castings.
Computer-aided design of foundry production
One of the variants of optimization of the castings production technologies with the help of multiple-processor technologies of supercomputer SKIF is presented.
Algorithms for determination of statistic characteristics in metallurgical production at manufacturing of hardware products are described. Analysis of the calculated statistic characteristics of hardware products of RUP “BMZ” is presented.
Algorithms for mathematical description of microstructures of pearlitic steels is offered. It is shown that mathematical models of microstructures, built using frequency distribution of the eutectoid pearlitic steel colonies, allow to evaluate the degree of microstructure heterogeneity by inter-plate distances.
Program system of production planning of all workshops of mainline production at RUP «BMZ» is developed.
Influence of temperature interval of forging with start of deformation from (α + β)- and β-fields and of conditions of cooling after deformation on structure and mechanical characteristics offorged pieces of alloy BT23 is shown.
Science of materials
Mechanisms of destruction of high-duty mechanically alloyed dispersion strengthened materials on the basis of metals are studied at the example of system Сu - 0,80% Al - 0,71% О and technological methods, providing increase of their viscosity, are given.
The main technological characteristics of dispersion-strengthened copper, applied f o r production of articles of electro-technical purpose, are given. Technological peculiarities of the main operation of hot volume punching (broaching and bending) and edge cutting machining are stated in detail
The operating conditions of forest machines are analyzed. Transmission parts disabled as a result of intensive wear have been determined, their fracture mechanism has been established. A technique for diffuse impregnation of component parts with powdered mixtures containing boron and silicon is offered. An optimal composition and temperature for diffuse impregnation of component parts operating under dynamic loading has been specified. Micro-hardness of surface and subsurface layers has been studied.
Protection of labour
One of the methodical approaches to determination of effort index of foundry workers, based on study of character and force of harmonic and immune systems binding, is examined.
Construction of high-efficient jet, allowing to fotm stream of ring cross-section, providing sharp decrease of power inputs f o r purification and decrease of water flow, is developed.
