Metallurgy
Montage and arrangement of equipment for the seamless hot-rolled pipes production is being carried out at present at RUP ‘"BMZ”. The planned date of putting into operation of production is till July, 3, 2007.
The research work on unification of the units fettling of the metal bottom blowing with inert gas is carried out on the arc steel furnaces No 1, 2, 3.
The methods of calculation of probability of crosscut cracks in circular ingot, poured at MNLZ, allowing to take into account the peculiarities of plastic deformation of slug, is offered. The calculations of probability of crosscut cracks in ingot with diameter 140 mm of low-carbon steel are presented on the example of slug with circular section.
The calculation methods of the temperature field of the breakdown, being rolled in lines of the modern high-speed wire mill, is developed on the basis of solving of problem of the contact exchange of hot metal with cold rollers.
Тhе peculiarities of step-by-step reconstruction of wire mill 150, being carried out at RUP are examined.
The different types of cold-worked accessory are examined in the article. The necessity of development of such type of accessory in the Republic of Belarus due to requirements of market is shown. High emphasis is placed on the methods of increase of plasticity of cold-worked accessory from usual mill of RUP and CIS countries.
The developed temperature regimes of metal heating, energy-power and temperature parameters of rolling provided receiving of geometrical sizes, mechanical and metallographic investigations of hot-rolled round rolled metal with diameter 160 mm.
The works are carried out for the purpose of expediency of use of composite drawing dies at wiredrawing from unetched rolled wire.
The technological process of production of the rolled wire and hoop after carried out reconstruction is shown.
The classifier of breakings of drawn wire of the steel with pearlite structure, criteria and estimation of the wire layering degree are worked out.
The developments of high-capacity machine-tool for production of steel fiber and grid are given.
The backgrounds and history of creation, development of the quality system, and also practice and results of the works on certification of the quality system and production at RUP “BMZ” are considered in the article.
CAD foundry
The system parameterization of castings, allowing to formalize spatial geometry of casting, is offered. The algorithm of taxonomy, which can be used for solving of problems of castings classification in the systems of computeraided design of foundry technologies, is described. The method is approved on castings of type ''cover”.
Analytical methods of calculation of the non-metallic particle run-length in geometrical system ''stand piperunning channel”, allowing to evaluate the dynamics of the particle movement on its parameters on qualitative level, is offered. The results of calculations of run-length carried out on real gating systems for non-metallic particles of different density are presented.
Foundry
The peculiarity of production and classification of alloys by technological complexity of production are given.
It is determined that at projecting of the inner cage of moulds it is necessary to take into account such parameters as fraction of the main material of the model, content and granulometric composition of its filling components, characteristics of the material of shell mold.
Algorithms of the solution of inverse problem of heat transfer, the combining analytical and numerical methods of the calculations providing an opportunity of definition of thermal flow and factors of heat exchange in crystallizer in real time in established mode of continuous casting of cylindrical ingot are developed. Averages for cycle heat transfer coefficients on borders casting—crystallizer and crystallizer-water are calculated. Dependence of heat transfer coefficients on border casting—crystallizer from time of a cycle is approximately estimated.
It is offered to tale into account irregular character of the heat of superheat allocation in liquid cup of casting by criterion of nonuniformity of the heat of superheat discharge along perimeter of the solidification front.
The function of silicon at out-of-furnace modifying of industrial grey cast iron is shown in the article.
The original method of thermal cleaning of metal chips using high-frequency electromagnetic field was tested on the results of the carried out experimental- research works.
It is determined that the working out technology will allow to increase the using of wastes, to reduce consumption of liquid steel for production of castings, to eliminate defect at casting and etc.
The experimental and literature data on characteristics and functions of fluxing agents and slags, applied for running of stable melting processes in different electroslag technologies, are generalized. The energy connections of cations and anions in slag systems are examined. The formulas of calculation of the slag melts basic capacity depending on chemical composition of fluxing agents are offered. The densities are investigated and melting temperatures of different fluxing agents are given.
The way of electro-slag casting of the articles ''Heart hornlike'*, used for production of pipe taps under GOST 17375-83 is considered. The expediency of the electro-slag remelt application is shown, the technological parameters and regimes of casting are considered. The temperatures of the smelt and liquid fluxing agent are given.
The characteristics of vanadium and nitrogencontaining economically-alloyed wear-resisting steels are investigated. The micro-composition and nature of nonmetallic impurities of steels with lowered content of manganese are studied. The optimal compositions of alloys for castings are offered.
It is shown that for getting of uniform coating, possessing good adhesion to the accessory surface, the lubricants containing silicon-organic compounds should be used.
The developments of modem conservation materials, which passed atest at Russian works, are given.
Science of materials
The necessity of use of physical methods of quality control in foundry at the example of liquid-penetrant test is grounded.
The methods of calculation of straining force at plastic shaping in tube slug with predictable size of surface of bridge from the tube wall to flange are given.
The article is dedicated to the new economical technology of coatings on the base of titanium carbide by means of electro-spark processing of the details with SVS-reagents. The structures, phase and chemical compositions, micro-hardness, wear resistance of coatings are determined.
The influence of centrifugal force on dynamics of the burning wave spread and the carbide particles distribution in metallic alloy in the process of SVS-casting is considered. It was concluded that centrifugal force can be used for production of materials with gradient of the hardening particles concentration.
The specialists of RUP '‘MAZ'' created and industrially assimilated modem technology and automated machinery on thermal processing of heavy-loaded details of irregular shape, which have no analogues in the Republic of Belarus and CIS countries.
Practical possibilities of variation of the thermal processing parameters at receiving of fixed level of alloy BT23 hardening in large slugs are considered.
