Metallurgy
The presented in the article materials are new for the Republic of Belarus and rather actual for solving of problem of maximum utilization of iron-ore raw of belarusian fields with the purpose of creation of own mining branch in the country.
The technological peculiarities of melting and out-of-furnace processing of balanced steels in conditions of electric furnace steelmaking and continuous cast of RUP “BMZ” are considered.
It is shown that the important factor for receiving of high quality of continuously-casted ingot is construction and state of machine equipment of the slug continuous casting.
It is shown that in conditions of continuous small-section mill 320 RUP “BMZ” transfer to production of the main assortment of bar reinforcement of die-rolled sections No 10-32 of incoming billets of square with section 140x140 mm did not exert negative influence on the level of the reinforcing steel mechanical characteristics.
The information system on basis of data manager ORACLE of steel production for increase of efficiency, control quality of workshops ESPTs-1,2 is developed and implemented at RUP “BMZ”.
It is shown that the value of bonding strength of metal-cord and rubber is not changed within one year of metal-cord storage.
The comparison of temperatures, deformations and pressures for two chosen regimes of the crystallizer swinging, which have difference in duration of sicin contact with crystallizer wall, is given in the present article.
The possibilities of application of the metal jet heating before rolling are shown.
The offered calculation procedure allows to determine with adequate accuracy the temperature dynamics by section of slug depending on time.
The business-process of planning and accounting of flux before and after implementation of the project in system SAP R/3 is examined.
It is shown that decrease of electrolyte concentration by 2 5 -3 0 % allowed to reduce consumption o f main components by 1,5 times without deterioration of properties of brass slug and metal-cord.
The methods of measuring of relative area of hardware tie with the help of traditional measuring methods and measuring using device RM301.
The problems of local monitoring of the waters quality at RUP “B M Z” are considered.
The methods of the non-destructive testing of pipes during manufacture are considered. It is shown, that the ultrasonic method provides revealing all types of defects peculiar to seamless pipes. The ways of pipes automated testing realization of are determined.
Computer-aided design of foundry production
The numerical analysis of temperature field, being cooled under analytical and numerical schematic models, is carried out. It is shown that implicit schematic model is close to analytical decision.
The dynamics of the temperature changing in allocated points of industrial chill molds is experimentally investigated. It is shown that one of the reasons of the chill mold fastness decrease may be prolonged being in nonstationary regime of “working”, what is connected with its three-dimensional configuration and different-walled.
Algorithm of the slug heating optimal regime at stepwise multizone heat supply is presented. The algorithm allows to optimize the heating regimes of slugs of arbitrary three-dimensional configuration on different criteria at given technological limits imposed on the slug heating process.
Foundry
The main activity directions in developments of NP RUP “Institute BelNIIlit”, which solve the complicated problems in the field of foundry and energy-saving are considered.
The main problem, which the enterprises, using the technology of casting in vertical stacks, face with, is operation of dosage and automatic control of the sand blend volume update at model plate.
The mechanism of remelting of cast-iron chip scraps in induction furnaces is investigated and optimized.
The main types of filters are examined. Their characteristics are given. The fields of their application are given.
The mathematical model of casting process and numerical investigations on determination of the continuous casting fitting parameters for production of slugs of zinc anodes are described.
The contact-contactless and contactless methods and visual-measuring means of size control in foundry and other fields are examined.
New hardening oils of series VOLTES MZ ООО “VPO “Volgohimneftj ” are considered.
It is shown that the main point of thermodynamics of nanocrystals tolerance in melts is, that interphase surface tension on border of liquid metal with nanocrystals is linearly dependent on its radius. It decreases considerably interphase surface tension of nanocrystals and makes them thermodynamically steady in melt.
The characteristics of chrome-containing economically-alloyed steels are investigated. Micro-composition and nature of non-metallic impurities of steels with lowered content of manganese are studied. The optimal compositions of alloys for castings are offered.
The influence of iron on mechanical, technological^, and service characteristics of some aluminium alloys is estimated. It is determined that iron decreases fluidity, degrades mould-fillability and increases inclination of aluminium alloys to hot cracks forming. The influence of cooling speed on sizes of impurities FeAl3 in alloys of system Al-Fe and concentration of iron in hard solution is studied.
Science of materials
The methods of calculation of the prismatic steel slug temperature field at heating in furnace is stated. The numerical solution of quasi-linear equation of heat conduction with granite conditions of the third type taking into account temperature dependence of the main thermal-physical characteristics (firmness, specific heat capacity and heat conduction) is received. The coefficients of heat transfer, at which experimental data and calculated values have minimum deviation, are determined.
The technical process of production and restoration of worn cathodes and targets of chemically active metals (Ti, Zr, V and others) with the help of cathode ray in vacuum is developed. Regenerating of worn cathodes, targets is carried out by means of insertion in chill of worn base and successive cathode ray deposition on certain places of required quantity of metal (from 2 till 50mm).
Experience exchange
The types of magnetic separators used in casting are given. The technology of preparation of aluminium chip scrap for further using in domestic manufacture is developed and implemented at Minsk Motor Works.
The production of water-emulsion lubrication on basis of organosilicon polymers for production of cores by heated tool is described, and also its physical properties are studied and given.
