It is established experimentally that increase of intensity  of metal blowout in arc steel furnace is accelerating the dissolving of lime in slag. The operative regime of blowout in the arc furnace BM Z practically does not exert considerable influence on sulfur content in metal. It is shown that fettling wear in a complicated way depends on intensity of metal blowout what is connected with its dependence on FeO and SiO2 content.

Abstract

The results of investigations of mechanical characteristics and structures of steels for the technological accessory, recovered by means of electroslag technologies, which are economically efficient ways of stamps recovery are presented. The contents of nonmetallic impurities in metal after electroslag heating is considerably reduced, the impurities are becoming more dispersed and are distributed in ingot volume more uniformly. The characteristics of plasticity and viscosity after electroslag heating are practically equivalent to these characteristics for deformed metal and cost of the stamp recovered by means of electroslag heating is considerably lower than the cost of accessory of deformed metal.

Abstract

The possibility of intensification of the nickel alloys \ EI437B, E1617, E l86 deterioration at thermal heat cycling is considered in the article. The changing of the alloys hardness at heat-cycling treatment in intervals of the temperatures of chilling and deterioration is investigated. It is shown that application of heat cycling allows to increase the hardness and resistance at high temperatures as compared to standard treatment.

Steel forming technology in conditions of warm forming is a process, which is very attractive for technological practice in term of lower energy consumption, higher quality of the surfase and dimensional precision of gorged pieces. Interval of recommended forming temperatures of steel in conditions of warm forming is narrow, therefore for successful development of this technology it is important to obtain more information about mechanical properties of materials, especially of plastic ones, at warm forming temperature. The plastic characteristic of 18ChG steel and influence of heat treatment on its formability are studied in this article. The importance of selection of forging temperature and material flow simulation in die cavity for economic production of rings shaped forged by warm forming is shown.

The methods of calculation of maximal tension srtesses arising in slat at asymmetric heating are set out. The liminations on magnitude of heat flow and temperature of heating environment for initial period of heating and on regular stage of the process are formulated. The ojfered methods allow by means of variation of the heat-exchange coefficient value on the surface of slat to determine the thermal regime of heating excluding the possibility of exceeding of allowable level of thermal stresses in the heated article and arising of defects.
