Foundry

New direction of polychromic spectral-compensated pyrometry of beaming is developed. The high metrological characteristics of spectral-compensated methods are confirmed.
Неге are described two methods of productions of bimetal castings steel-hard alloy. The essence of the 1st method is in surfacing of the inner surface of rotating steel form with self-fluxing Ni-Cr based powder. The essence of the 2nd method is teeming of melted cast iron into rotating heated steel form and following heat treatment of the billet to provide hardness of the surfased layer not less than 63 HRC.
The calculation dependencies for determination of the main constructive parameters of metal wire for production of slugs of different dimension-type by means of continuously-cyclic casting by frosting are received.
The evaluation of changing of the cast temperature in crystallizer is carried out.
The investigations of continuous horizontal casting of copper anodes slugs are carried out on the basis of numerical modeling. The influence of technological factors on degree of recovery of Ni out of dead catalysts containing about 20% of NiO is studied. It is determined that they can be used without enrichment for low alloying of iron-carbon alloys at casting in usual casting houses.
The investigation of influence of thermo-cyclic processing (TCP ) in the range of temperature 545-440 °C and ageing at 170 °C, 7 hours on forming of structure and mechanical characteristics of casting alloys A206 with size 100x100x100 mm is carried out. It is determined that at TCP the dispersion of microstructure is increased practically two times as much as compared to standard processing (T6).
The nature of поп-metallic impurities of high-manganese wear-resistant steel is investigated by means of scanning electronic microscopy. The optimal compounds of complex additives (titan, vanadium, chromium, molybdenum, nitrogen), providing the highest operational characteristics of details, are determined.
It is shown that resin MAGNAHOT provides lowered gassing, well-dimensional stability and solidity.

The work is dedicated to problems of creation of compositional materials in the form of powders and protective coats for strengthening of heavy-loaded details.
The method of processing in magnetic field of rolled metal surfaces, details of machines and devices is given, and examples of practical application of the developments are given as well.
CAD foundry
The ways of projection of chill auxiliaries used at development of foundry technologies are described. The structure of informational complex for carrying out of engineering calculation methods of chill auxiliaries is presented.
The analysis of the methods of neuron nets, which are used for solving of some problems of foundry, is presented. It is shown that the problems of projection of chill auxiliaries can be solved by means of the methods of neuron nets.
The description of the slag model allowing to optimize the process of steel melting in arc steel-furnace is presented. The functional possibilities of dynamic model of slag on changing of the slag composition, phosphorus extraction, magnesium oxide dissolubility, are shown at the example of model calculations.
The methods for calculation of cross pressures, formed at steel casting, in round ingot poured at MNLZ, allowing to take into account mechanical bend of ingot and thermal stresses, are offered. The dynamics of the thermal stresses along the length of ingot of circular section with diameter 160 mm and 240 mm of low-carbon steel St20 is established by means of computer modeling.
The analysis of calculation methods of the casting moulds filling process is presented. It is shown that the main formulas for calculations of the moulds filling processes are empiric and correct for concrete technological conditions. The conclusion on necessity of using of computer models for developments of gating systems is made.
The numerical analysis of dynamics of the cindery particle moving in the system ''riser-gate channel'' is presented. The dependencies of the cindery particle speed on the period of its moving, denseness, radius and proportion of sectional area of riser and feeder are calculated.
The main principles of working of the new type system for automated projection of optimal foundry technology are described. The examples on development of foundry technology for casting of safety valve body of oil-gas hardware are given.
The numerical model of hardening of continuouslycasted eutectic silumin is worked out. The average speed of enthalpy decreasing in different geometrical zones of casting is calculated on its basis. The experimental samples of the continuously casted eutectic silumin microstructure are received.
