Metallurgy
The reduction of time under the current, electric energy rate, electrodes rate at working of arc steel-furnace with new transformer of capacity 95 MBA and with regulating system SIMELT-AC-NEC are noted.
It is shown that analysis of heat balances in most cases allows to determine efficiency of furnace working and to control the processes and operate the thermal regime in narrow limits of parameters changing as well.
The short-cut method of calculation of plastoelastic deformations and stresses of prismatic slugs of rectangular section at heating taking into account change of physical-mechanical characteristics of the slugs material depending on temperature is worked out.

Computer-aided design of foundry production
The program complex, which is the basis of decision taking system for optimization of foundry technologies, is presented in the article. The method of optimization is built on the principles of the fuzzy sets theory
The software “ProDSP-1,0” allowing to forecast the dynamics of the dephosphorizaiton process at casting course in arc steel-furnace, is worked out. The examples of working of different program operating regimes, showing the possibilities of phosphorus control in steel-furnace of RUP ‘'BMZ'' are given.
The structural outline of automation of the chill mold auxiliaries is worked out. The criteria of choice of optimal chill mold auxiliaries construction, based on numerical methods of modeling, are offered.
Semi-quantitative method for calculation of nonmetallic particles moving in gating systems that are used in sand-clay moulds is offered. The method allows to carry out expert evaluation of efficiency of gating system working at initial stage of the foundry technology development. The differential equation of Navje-Stocks and Newton's second law of motion taking into account Archimed's force are put into basis of the methods.
The characteristics of the vacuum degassing process in RH-vacuumator of RUP are experimentally investigated. The profiles of vacuumator pressure, discharge of argon, metal temperatures and others for different melting processes of cord steel assortment are determined.
Foundry
It is shown that thermal-convection melt flows, arising in liquid costing pipe as a result of melt spray effect and acting along the front of ctystallization, have a great influence on forming of hard encrust right up to its fusion. The degree of this influence depends on the character of allocation and intension of thermal-convective flows.
The article describes technological peculiarities of production of continuously-cast ingots by continuous horizontal method of casting into benched crystallizer.
Mechanisms of modification of cast iron and steel\^ were analyzed and thermodinamic performance criterion of modifiers was defined. It is shown that in cast irons, Mg, Ca and P3M mostly act like refining modifiers. In steel they act as refining and surfactant species. Effectiveness of modifiers for steel is determined by their high degassing and surface activity, low distribution coefficient, weak interaction with Ъ-Ре, low activity in liquid metal.
The comparative analysis of the processes of homogeneous and heterogeneous nucleation at crystallization of metals on undercoats with different bending of surface and interfacial surface tension is given. It is shown that the main mechanisms of nucleation processes at hardening of metals are homogeneous and heterogeneous ones on own undissolved nanocrystals, which can be in melt in a superfine and (or) colloid state for a comparatively long period.
The data, which are necessaty for modeling of deflected mode of real casting, are received, and the developed model can be used for preventing of the defects of shrink origin at production of steel castings.
The influence of several modifying elements on the main technological, physical-chemical and service properties of cast die steel 5XHM is investigated in the work. The most perspective modifiers for using in technological process of the cast instrument production are determined.
The characteristics of economically-alloyed wear-resistant steels are investigated. The micro-composition and nature of nonmetallic impurities with decreased content of manganese are examined. The optimal alloys compositions for castings are offered.
The thermodynamic calculations of the temperature of the disoxidation onset of a raw of alloying element by solid carbon are canned out. It is determined that using of additives on the basis of wastes allows to reduce the cost of castings due to replacement of expensive raw materials.
Science of materials
The theoretical aspects of development of the complex-alloyed steel compounds for cutting parts of high-speed instrument, particularly influence of alloying elements on its structure and characteristics are considered. It is shown that combined alloying of steel by carbon, chrome, silicon, manganese, vanadium and molybdenum in a certain proportion allows to reach the intended aim, achieving at the same time increase of solidity, impact elasticity and heat stability.
The metallographic investigations of titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V ELI after deformation with yield degree in the range 0,152-0,56 at temperature within the range of 900-1050°C are carried out. It is determined that the more is the difference between the temperature of deforming and temperature of phase conversion of alloy, the higher is non-uniformity of deformation in height of slug
The experimental technology of the bimetallic point tool production, based on operation of arising of binding of cutting and tail parts by means of deformation through matrix of corresponding configuration is worked out.
Economy
The different approaches to estimation of liquidity indices are examined. These indices allow to cany out an operative control of financial position of the enterprise. The points of view of the leading native economists on conception 'financial stability of enterprise are taken into account.
Production news
The way of cast iron production in cupola-furnace using coke and anthracite in composition of fuel bed is examined. Using of anthracite provides raise of temperature of cast iron and economy of coke.
The brief perspective of implantation of new production of heating equipment till the year 2010 at ОАО *'MZOO'' is given.
