The factors, influencing on efficiency of carrying out of vacuum processing of steel at bowl vacuumator VD, are revealed. The deficiencies of the existing technology are determined and recommendations on changing of the technological parameters are worked out.
It is shown that the correct selection of lubricant for wiredrawing allows not only to improve the technological characteristics of wire for the steel wire cord spin but to guarantee the stability of adhesion characteristics of steel wire cord as well.
Ап attempt to study the influence of tensile load on creation of torque forces in steel wire cord at its production and processing into rubber-cord blade is made in this article.
The workshop on processing of refractory materials is created at RUP ''BMZ'' with the purpose of increase of steal cost. The works on improvement of service characteristics of refractory production are carried out.
It is shown that for realization of the balance ''high effectiveness - low level of discharge'' the complex of actions is required, as increasing of one of the indices of the balance always results in decreasing of the other one.
Application of high-speed scissors will enable to reduce the number of attending personnel at wire mill by 15%, and taking into account high speeds at modem wire mills will increase forwarding of rolled metal in the line of finishing.
In the article there is given the solving of task of counterflow radiative-convective heat exchange at heating of massive thermosensitive substances. Analysis of influence of different factors on heating conformities in counterflow is carried out.
In the article there are presented the materials, concerning the peculiarities of thermal-physical processes, occurring at heating of cylindrical slugs in circular furnaces. The methods of calculation of actual heat capacity and cubic density, enabling to receive more precise results in comparison to the known ones, are worked out.
The article contains materials, dedicated to theoretical investigations of thermostressed state of rolls of MNLZ with the purpose of estimation of their durability. The worked out methods enable to determine the roll durability (number of loading cyclic processes) depending on speed of the ingot stretching
The manufacturing data on forming of carbide grid in uninterruptedly-casted ingots of bearing steel ShHlSSG depending on technological parameters in preheating and heating furnaces of RUP ‘‘BMZ” are given.
The results of measuring of moment of flexibility force and engines currents in glues duo No 2, 3, 4 in the period of free bar catching and interaction through the bar and also data of computer modeling are presented.
Computer modeling of the liquid phase length of the ingot moving in MNLZ with predetermined speed on the basis of three-dimensional equation of heat conduction and models, considering changing of carbon concentration in liquid and solid phase at crystallization, is described. There are determined effective lengths of stretch of the liquid phase which can be formed in slug with circular section.
The mathematical model of the mixing and dissolving process of carbonic powder in a system '"vacuumator-bowl” under influence of circulating argon is offered. The spatial distribution of hydrodynamic currents at mixing of carbonic powder, received on the basis of computer calculations is presented. The character of distribution of hydrodynamic speeds of melt (circulating currents) in industrial bowl and vacuumator for different time slots of mixing is determined.
The carried out team-work of NIIZHB and RUP “BMZ” enabled to receive new technological decisions at production of bale reinforcing bar, realization of which will increase reliability of reinforced-concrete constructions of buildings and installations.
It is established that the factor influencing on forming of cinder at high-speed rolling of carbon steel is the temperature of rod after water cooling and consequent speed of cooling
Foundry
The results of the laboratory and industrial investigations, the purpose of which is improvement of the classical Cold-box-process, i.e. the process of the slugs hardening in cold boxes, are presented.
The mathematical model for numerical analysis of scaling of the ingots, moving with constant speed in the furnaces with step-heating and given quantity of temperature zones, is offered. The results of computer calculations of temperature and scale layer forming at movement of ingot with constant speed in furnaces with five temperature zones are presented.
The regression equations, reflecting interaction of the slag characteristics and its chemical composition, are received on the basis of multivariate regressive analysis using empirical evidence. Statistical estimate of degree of influence of the slag composition factors on foaming index and parameter considering surface tension, density and viscosity of slag is presented.
The developments of highly abrasion-resistant material with bulk properties, able to work in condition of intense heat-changing are given. The results of the work are implemented at the mill 320/150 RUP ‘"BMZ”.
In combined methods advantages of main ones are effectively realized and limitations of auxiliary ones and means of non-destructive inspection are compensated. Visualization of pictures of hard-to-reach surfaces by optical systems allows to construct rationally informational process of forming and localization of contrasting zones regenerated at different physical interactions on initial level.
Remote scanning of internal cavities broadens the fields of practical application of optical defectoscopy and diagnostics of state of expanded articles of variable cross-sections with automatic optical system control and optoelectronic processing of video picture.
The analysis of features of non-destructive ultrasonic testing of castings of products is presented. It is shown, that for the testing shadow and mirror shadow methods should be used. It is preferable the application of special transducers with acoustically soft protector.
The results of investigation of degradation of Al and Zn coverings on steel samples, carried out by the authors with application of gravitational method, are given.
The results of researches of an ultrasonic quality testing of pistons of diesel engines in casting are submitted. It is shown, that special focusing transducers should carry out for the testing. Accuracy of the testing is not worse than 0,5 % from the area of niresist insert.
The method allowing to increase the possibility of the defects recognition in the tasks of nondestructive check is described. The method can be used for processing of data and projecting of the nondestructive check systems.
The mode of functioning of laser profilometer of the irregular shape items which is urged to replace widely spread at present moment contact measuring devices is described in the article. The main data on the device construction, software support and technical characteristics of the sample being approbated at one of the machinebuilding works are given.
Thе results of measuring by devices MAXI and MS of magnetic parameters of castings of high-test cast iron VCh 50, produced under technological regime and with violation of modification regime, are compared to the characteristics of the castings structure under GOST 3443-87. It is shown that at the equal shape of graphite impurities the change of the pearlite contents in metallic matrix increases coercive force of controlled materials by 2,8 times.
New standard spectral analyzer for express-analysis of metals and alloys is presented.
It is shown that application of fractionated pearlite rock leads to reduction of defective goods by slag shot and to increase of resistance of refractory facing up to 50%.
Using of condensation process for gas treating from dust enabled not only to catch dust fine fractions and to reduce the expenses of gas treating as well.

The production of precision-sized zinc anodes for metallurgy and machine-building under the technology, developed by ITM NAN of Belarus is described.
Thе methods and outfit Angara-P, allowing to determine the contents of hydrogen in liquid aluminium and aluminium alloys in range 0,05-5,0 cm3/100g of melt accurate within + 0,03 - 0,08 cm3/100g, are developed. AE-method gives possibility to carry out analysis during 1,0—1,5 min.
Influence of Si, Al, Ni, Fe, Mn alloying on proportion of α and β-phases in brasses with equivalent concentration of zinc 33—38% in cast state and after annealing is shown.
The field of application of castings of pure copper is shown. The main factors influencing on the copper casting quality are determined and analyzed. It is determined that the main element of the technological process of the production of alloys of copper, influencing on the casting quality, is proportion of mixture and its preparation before melting
The article is dedicated to the development and industrial assimilation of the fundamentally new methods of thermal strengthening of large articles out of hardenable titanic alloys.
The aim of the present investigation is development of new cast alloys, strengthened by boride phases due to volume alloying by boron for increase of durability of products working in contact with abrasive or hydroabrasive environment, and also of technology of their production.
The developed system of purification of sewage water from petroleum products allows to provide efficiency of purification up to the norms of PDK, and if necessary the devices can be used as a separate modules or their combinations.
