There is developed the procedure of calculation of the interrelated processes of hardening and crystallization, allowing to determine the metallurgical length of the slug and parameters of zones of the acicular (dendritic) and globular (volume) crystallization
There is made the overview of the existing ways of heating of the large-capacity industrial ingots with heightened thermocontent and first of all with non-solidified heart.
There are carried out the complex investigations of thermal work of the heating furnace of the mill 250 RUP ''Belorussian metallurgical works” using the methods of nonlinear mathematical modeling and the theory of optimal control.
The development of metallurgical branch in current conditions stipulates the necessity of increasing of the technological processes efficiency of the rolled products production, which provide economy of energy resources, reduction of building costs of the new and reconstruction of operating plants.

In the article is given the mathematical model of the table of swinging with hydroelectric drive of the crystallizer of the slugs continuous casting machine. The mathematical model is received by methods of the theory of automatic operating with outputting in dimensionless form of transfer functions of the system several elements.
In the article there is given the overview of possibility of the devices with hydraulic drive application in pipe rolling. There are shown the advantages of such type of drives as compared to the mechanical and electric ones.
The influence of small additions into the liquid matrix alloys on the change in the solidification behavior of macroheterogeneous composite materials have been considered. It has been shown that additions of micro- and nano-size particles considerably improved mechanical properties of compozite materials.
CAD foundry
There is offered the method, based on the equations Navje-Stocks, for modeling of the porosity, forming in the process of crystallization and cooling of the threedimensional casting, having gating system. There is carried out the computer modeling of the porosity forming in the industrial casting ''plate”
There is offered the mathematical model for numerical analysis of the processes of scaling, proceeding at heating of the moving ingot. There are carried out the computer calculations of the ingot heating in the furnaces with stage heating.
In the article there is presented the program complex ThermoSim, consisting of preprocessor, processor and postprocessor and intended for modeling (analysis) of thermalphysic processes and characteristics of details of instrument-making and machine-building, diagnostics and optimization of technological processes of heat treatment and details constructions without using the destructive control methods.

There is shown that using of copolymers reveals more wide opportunities of modification.
In the article there is presented the program complex “LENTA ” for modeling of the armored chlorine-copper tape at continuous casting into rolling crystallizer. There are described the possibilities of the software support and form of representation of the calculation results.
There are given the results of investigation of influence of modification by ferrocerium, FS30RZM30B, FSMG, modifier MN, developed in BNTU, ferromolybdenum on the structure and characteristics of the steel 12X18H10TL.
The article touches upon the solving of the actual problem — production in conditions of Belarus of ferrochrome of the leather production wastes, that allows to solve several technological problems and to reduse import of expensive ferroallows.
There is offered the technology of the cast instrument production by means of induction smelting using different metal discards as a base mixture. The given results of investigations prove the possibility of the cast instrument production and its application.
The results of investigations of the steels of types 20L and 20GSL, modified by the silicon-free hardener AKTse complex, allows to recommend it for out-of-furnace treatment (modification) of such steels.
There is shown, that it's possible to deoxidize steel for special castings under the scheme silicon-manganese-aluminium-cerium in the furnaces of small capacity.
There is shown, that influences of silicon-free complex foundry allow о the processes of crystallization of carbon steel 35L have essentially changed the mechanical and foundry properties of steel, that allows to offer the replacement of steel allows by carbon steels without reduction of durability of the prodused from them details.
There is developed the technology of drying and pyrolysis of the chrome-containing discards of tanning production, allowing to change ecology-dangerous organic component into pyrocarbon and to increase the concentration of Cr203 from 10 to 90%. There is proved the possibility of the carbo-thermic method of production of the iron-chromium allow from the prepared discards. There is carried out melting in induction-furnase 1ST 04, received 500 kg of allow containing 11% Cr and 3,4% C.
There are studied the peculiarities of structure formation at crystallization expression using induction heat by currents with frequency 2400 and 8000 Hz of rod iron with diameter 16-40 mm from steels 35,40 and 40X. It is determined that single induction heat during 2-5 minutes provides required structure and solidity and reduction of the thermal cycle in comparison with furnace annealing (5-8 hours).
There is developed the technology and equipment for recrystallization annealing with heating of TVCh of rod rolled metal at production of fixing articles of automobiles with outside threaded profile. There are developed the regimes of thermotreatment with induction heat of rolled metal at moving of rod material with diameter from 12 to 28 mm and length 6 m through multitum inductor with different speeds and parameters of heat.
In the article there are given the technological peculiarities of putting of the thermal covering on combustor of the diesel engine aluminium forcer by method of micro-arc oxidations.
There is experimentally investigated the evolution of the structure at casting of materials in hard-liquid state by method of thixocompacting by the example of fusible systems. There are determined the temporary dependencies of the particles diameters, distances between their centers and porosity under different conditions of the process (sizes and space distribution of the particles of basic material, temperature regimes, the compacting pressure).
Hardening of agglutinant sands on lignosulphonate binding agent is the result of two processes: oxidation-reduction in the system lignosulphonate acids — persulfuric natrium in the early stages of hardening and hydration of cement in the latter stages.
