CAD foundry
There is offered the approach, based on the Navje-Stock*s equations, for calculation of sponginess, forming during the process of crystallization and cooling of the three-dimensional casting, having gating system. There are carried out the computer calculations of sponginess forming in the casting space “cross” for different variations of metal supply.
There is offered the model for the optimization of the internal structure and thermal regimes of the object by special functions, formed on the basis of characteristics of the stresses field. There is described the algorithm of choice of the object optimal configuration and presented the functions, illustrating the application of the method to calculation of the detail, exposed to thermal processing.
Foundry
The receives results of investigations at NP RUP ''Institute BelNIILIT' showed that there exists the real possibility of using of the developed technology of the agglutinant sand compacting with further pressing at the works.
According to the results of investigations at NP RUP ''Institute BelNIIlit” there is projected and produced the machine model 4841 of compacting of agglutinant sand by pneumatic stream for further pressing for size of casting-boxes 700x800x300/300 mm.
The offered procedure can be used for control of physical-mechanical characteristics of polyurethane cover. The received results can be interpreted from the viewpoint of specification of the fastness forming mechanism of the slugs of Cold-box-amin system.
For continuous circular casting by frosting by method of physical modelling there have been investigated on the transparent model the hydrodynamic flows of cooling water in crystallizer.
There are given the methods and carried out the calculation of temperature regime of melt in casting ladle of rotary type.
There are offered and examined the two new methods of casting in solid-liquid state—reo- and thixocompacting- useful for casting with the fixed fusion point. There are determined the conditions of these methods realization and experimentally analyzed on the model substances the processes and structure peculiarities of the produced casts.
This article describes peculiarities of the bimetal piston castings production technology (with niresist insert for upper compression ring) for diesel engines.
In the article there are examined the questions of the plasto-polymer model auxiliaries production, which allows to reduce the time of the casting production preparation in 5-10 times.
There is shown the method of improvement of the steel castings production technology by means of development and realization of the measures on prevention of formation of the gas origin defects on the basis of using of system approach to investigation of heat-gas regime of casting into a damp sand mold.
In this article there are considered the problem of using of coke waste. There have been proposed to briquette coke waste with peat and use briquettes as the fuel for cupolas heating boilers and furnaces.
There are given the results of the experimental investigations of processing of mixed scrap and waste of aluminium alloys with different characteristics and regimes of experiments conducting. There are developed the schemas of the metallurgical processing of the mixed aluminium scrap.
There are given the results of study of the process of silver extraction out of silvering electrolyte by means of metal-exchange. There is shown the dependence of silver extraction out of liquors of different concentration on the type and quantity of cementator and process duration. There is determined, that the perspective cementator is TsAM, allowing to extract silver out of liquors fully.
There is shown that the using of the centrifugal electroslag casting and modification of cast metal by dispersed hard inoculars allows to produce the high- temperature pipes of heaters from alloy XH38BT not only with good quality of forming, but with more heat- resistant characteristics as well.
Therе is analyzed the possibility of heating of the melting product in the cupola forehearth due to combustion heat of natural gas, and also is given data on physical modeling of metal melt bursting by gas blushes and on experimental determination of gas stress in a forehearth.
Economy
The article is dedicated to the examination of a raw of matters, concerned with the determination of essence and estimation of structure parameters of production plants as factors of their innovation activity. There is determined the essence of structure characteristics from the viewpoint of system approach, shown their role in forming of the enterprise potential, determined the connection with the complex of aims of the latter. The results of the carried out by authors investigation of influence of structure parameters on the level of innovation activity of the enterprises of metallurgical and foundry sub-branch of RB are briefly characterized.

There is analyzed the efficiency of using of different mathematical models (material behavior) at calculation of the thermo-stressed state of steel ingots and slugs. There is based the choice of model of the material viscoelastic behavior at calculations of solidification and heating of incompletely solidified ingots.
For the first time in the theory of counterflow heat exchange there is solved the problem of heating of the two-dimensional prismatic slug at its heating by convention current. There are studied the regularities of dynamics of the (gas) and metal heat carrier temperatures depending on different parameters.
There is given the solution of linked problem of heat conduction and thermoelasticity at heating of prismatic substances by radiant convection current, based on using of the method of equivalent sources.
On the basis of mathematical modeling there are analyzed the different variants of placement of equipment and technology of blooms soft squeezing at casting of them at MNLZ-3 RUP ''Belarussian metallurgical works''. There is developed the project of the main sample of the soft squeezing system of the continuously cast slugs with cut 250x300, 300x400 mm.
There is examined the problem of quality by the example of the special iron of RUP “BMZ” mill 850. There is introduced the concept of the complex quality index and its subdivision by levels. There is made the generalization of all deficiencies, occurred on the circular rolled section.
There are investigated the specific features transformation in the composite materials of macro- heterogeneous structure during dry friction. There are shown some common peculiarities of the structure formation during high and low speed dry friction without any lubricant.

Influence of mechanical vibrations under low- temperature nitriding on the characteristics of hardening lager of steels of various levels of alloging is examined.
