CAD foundry
The computer method of modeling of three- dimensional temperature fields for heating process of 3d- objects is offered. The comparative analysis of semi- analytical methods used in computation of heating devices and a computer method based on the heat conductivity equation is submitted.
The method of computer modeling, synthesizing cell- automatic approach and equations of termoelasticity for the processes, proceeding at crystallization of metal invironment, is offered. The three-dimensional computer calculations of the structure such as ’’cross", filled by aluminium alloy, having a nonuniform temperature field, received during filing of the mold by metal, are carried out.
Foundry
It is indicated, that using of high-molecular substances as modifiers of alkali silicate enables to receive structured binders with interpenetrating networks.
The process of oxidation of aluminium and silumin shavings has been investigated. It has been stated that presence of magnesium in silumin intencifies oxidation independently on furnace atmosphere composition. The technology of silumin shavings remelting was suggested.
In the article there is made analysis of using of the cybernetic methods and also are determined the peculiarities of the solution of problems on quality control of castings in foundry.
Science of materials
The manufacturing methods with application of induction heat and controlled chilling, developed at the Minsk automobile plant, are given.
The schemes of bainite reaction for cast iron are given. The different factors having an influence on structure formation are described. The concrete modes of heat treatment of gear out of cast iron for bainite in conditions of MAZ are offered.
The article describes the basic methods of casting of antifriction aluminium-graphite alloys and their peculiarities.
Quality control of materials and articles
The results of investigation of methods of supersonic inspection and structureskopy of foundry production, being used in auto- and tractor-building are presented. On basis of using of conical waves there are given optimal schemas of quality control of gearing of Ni-resist insertion with material of diesel engine forcers directly in casting as well as in early stages of final processing.
The article takes up the processes, occuring at the extention test of metals. The mathematical model of the system «tensile-testing machine hidraulicaly operated- sample—testing mode» is derived. There is shown analytic dependence of absolute and ratio dynamic error of test operations on the parameters of machine, substance and size of the tested sample, testing mode. There are given conclusions and recommendations on reducing of test operations error.

There is analysed the influence of distribution of metal density within width of transporter on uniformity of rolled wire chilling. The ways of increasing of uniformity of structure and characteristics of rolled wire by length of hanks are offered.
On the grounds of laboratory and industrial research the technological measures are worked out, which enable to receive the specified nitrogen content in converter low- carbon auto-sheet steel, smelted at Karagandinsk, Novolipetsk and Cherepovets metallurgical industrial complexes and in electric steel with a high carbon content for production of metal cord in conditions of Belarusian metallurgical works.
The new technology of production of semi-axles for automobiles of class MAZ, including manufacturing of slug with prefluting and their postrunning-in, is offered. The distinctive feature - simplicity and reliability of operation and possibility of increase of warping degree.

There is developed the technology of steel cast at MNLZ- 3 with protection of metal stream against secondary oxidation in zone flushing bowl-crystallizer through closed-bottom quartz immersible thimbles. At cast of cord steel grades at MNLZ- 3 the application of closed-bottom quartz immersible thimbles of type SKSB-79 enabled to decrease the density of metal- oxide impurities with diameter 5,5 mm by 29 %, and Significance subshrinking liquidation by 14,2 and 25 %.
There is examined and developed the technology of deoxidation of steel by aluminium with using measuring of oxygen activity in metal before outlet from chipboard by means of oxygen sensors ''CELOX"' of the firm "ELECTRO-NITE*.
