The comparative analysis of deformability of the rolled wire from unkilled and finished steel grades at manufacture of metal production in conditions of RUP '"Rechitski hardware plantis carried out. The expediency of using rolled wire from unkilled steel 1 kp, 3 kp for wiredrawing and production of hardware is proved.

Abstract

The experimental investigations of the structure and characteristics of the rolled wire cooled by air streams of different rates, imitating the conditions of the second stage of cooling of the modern high-speed rolled mills, are carried out. The results of investigations showed the necessity to increase the maximum possible rate of air stream at the second stage of cooling in comparison with the available at the many mills cooling rate.

There is studied the origin of increase of tendency to cracking of reinforcement bars at production at mill 320 of the Belarussian metallurgical works. On the ground of the carried out integrated study the technology of thermostrengthening of reinforcing steel, providing the required structural status of finished steel production, is developed and introduced.

There are offered the integral characteristics of the thermostressed state of detail, built on the thermoelasticity parameters (relative and shear deformations, direct and tangential stresses) and proportion of detail elments. Computer calculations of three-dimentional deformations and stresses of the detail «Bowl» with the transient spatial sizes are made on the basis of balance and thermal conduction equations.

Тhe problem refining of the used brake blocks of passenger cars is examined. There is shown possibility of production of high-test cast iron with a nodular graphite using charging materials with a high content of detrimental impurities. Abstract

The history of induction heat formation in the machine-^ building technology and experience of Minsk automobile plant in induction heat hardening of automobile details are examined in our magazine No 1,2002. In this article there is examined the experience of Minsk automobile plant on creation and application of equipment and technology of induction heat at hot plastic deformation and in foundry. The recommendations on designing of heating installations and choice of optimum heat conditions are given.

Abstract

The article describes the special features of the structure and properties of cast low-alloy tungsten-free high-speed steel 11M5F in comparison with the properties of steel R6M5. There are also shown the structure and phase composition of cast carburized R6M5-based high-speed steel additionally alloyed with vanadium, titanium and niobium. There are discussed the results of microstructural analysis and mechanical tests of the cast high-speed steel in which tungsten is substituted by chromium.

In the article there is given the description of the realized at Gomel enterprise '^SANTEP'' project of 3 ton cupola with the system of low-energy gas cleaning. The offered system at a low production cost provides efficient cleaning of gas emissions from dust and detrimental impurities.
