The computer calculations of cast iron flow in industrial foundry goods “Radiator** with different constructive elements of gating systems are carried out. The distributions of total pulse of melt flow on components of velocity vector are calculated. There are offered the characteristics of melt flow for choice of the optimal gating systems constructions.
The authors are developing the new approach, based on the cellwise automatic modelling of the continuous steel casting process, allowing to calculate and visualize on computer the threedimensional process of cast slugs production in real industrial conditions.
Foundry
In the article there are examined the mechanisms of spheroidizing of series of phases in cast alloys in the view of the theory of semi-conductors.
The influence of the high-temperature thermal cycling (HTTC) regimes on structure and high-temperature plasticity of the cast alloy DI6 is investigated. There is shown the principle possibility of single-piece HTTC of cast alloy under conditions of high-speed (electrocontact and induction) heating instead of homogenization. The optimal HTTC conditions are established.
In this article there is described the process of slugs production by the method of centrifugal electroslag casting. There is presented the developed the mathematical kinetics model of interaction of metal, slag and gas at electroslag casting at all stages of technological process — from burning-off to crystallization of casting in mode. There are given the optimal parameters of the process and chemical composition ofthe offered slag skull.
In the article there are presented the investigation results of the influence of modification by rare-earth elements, the representatives of two groups — yttrium and cerium, on microstructure and properties of experimental alloy samples. There are established the consequences of influence of rare-earth metals on degree of dispensing of the introduced inoculating elements in base solution, and also on the properties of alloy material samples.

The result of measuring is compared with the previously established usability ranges. By the result is comparison the signal of actuating mechanism operating is formed for separation of articles for non-defective and defective. The interconnection of ferrite contents in foundry goods and instrumentation indications of MAXI-P is established.
Тhе article shows, that using of binding material in liquid glass mix proportions increases their fastness and plastic properties.
There are given the list of the main physical magnitudes, affecting on the quality of sand-clay mode, received at air- impulse compression, and also the necessary kit for their measuring.
Metallurgy
The situation of metal cord market is analyzed and the necessity of reconstruction of hardware production RUP Belarussian metallurgical works is proved.
There is formulated and solved the combined problem^ of the heat interchange processes and thermoviscoelasticity for freezing uninterruptedly-casted slug of a cylindric form. The mathematical model allows for the processes of stresses relaxation and dependence of thermophysical and thermomechanical properties on temperature.
There are presented the results of calculations of thermic and thermostressed state of uninterruptedly-casted slugs in the combined thermotechnological process “solidification-cooling- heating”. There are offered the ways of thermal stresses reduction for the purpose of defectless slugs production.
There are presented the results of experimental investigations of heating processes of bloom, prismatic and cylindrical slugs in modern furnaces of different constructions (pusher-type furnaces, furnaces with pacing beams and pacing floor, circular furnaces).
Using the developed mathematical model of coupled (external and internal) head exchange, allowing for the form and thermoprocessing peculiarities of the continuous pusher- type furnace, there are improved the temperature-thermal conditions of slabs heating in furnace of mill 2250 of Alchevsk metallurgical industrial complex.
There is given the comparative analysis of solution of the problem of blooming ingot solidification in a casting mold by different methods for the purpose of determination of complete solidification duration.
There are analyzed the existing world directions of the development of new metal cord coverings. The results of the development and mastering of the new way of brass covering in conditions of RUP BMZ allowing to produce the ultrahigh-strength metal cord, are given.
The stages of formation and development of ecological services RUP “BMZ” are shown, the efficiency of organizational-technical measures on environmental contamination decrease is analyzed, the ways of ecological policy development are planned.
