CAD foundry
In this article there is examined one of the actual problems of the mathematical modelling of thermal processes ~ optimization of numerical solution of the thermal conduction equation. The dynamic increase of similarity groups using the new method is reflected.
One of topical problems of mathematical modeling of | thermal processes — numerical solution of thermal conduction equation is examined in the article. There is analyzed the time and spatial step for temperature fields with a complex spatial pattern, containing a lot of elements.
Computer method of modelling of the particles of different densit moving in the high-speed field of melt flows in the model three-dimensional object ‘"Stand- pipe -slag catcher — mould*' is offered. There are presented the results of calculations of dispensing of different densit slag particles proportion, localizing in curtain conditions in the area of stand-pipe, slag catcher and mould.

There is experimentally demonstrated sensitivity of the magnetic noise methods to the change of the structure of cast iron articles KCh 30-6 surface coating with an example of radiator nipple. As a result of measuring there is disclosed the increase of magnetic noise in case of presence of decarbonized lay on the surface of detail and/ or residual cementite in surface coating; at the increase of pearlite proportion in the near-surface coating there is observed the decrease of magnetic noise.
There is examined the possibility of method preparation of hydrogen content determination in aluminum alloys on the basis of acoustic emission effect.
In the article there are described the possibilities of the' program Autoscan Objects, intended for stereological analysis of the structured components of different materials. The principles of program creation and carrying out of analysis are shown. There is offered the program Autoscan Areas, intended for measurements of the surfaces, engaged by different phases, and also porosity of the examined materials.
In the article there is shown the possibility of formation of metal coat from nickel-alluminum alloy on saline sticks with melting temperature about 300 degrees Celsius at keeping of certain technological techniques.
There is given the retrospective and modern analysis of scientific-research and searching works of the Institute BelNIIlit in the field of technology and equipment for production of slugs with blowout by gaseous catalyzers.
The main directions of development of the new casting technology of silumins of inverted structure are shown.
There are given the results of thermo-temporal processing of slugs for thixocasting of hypercutectic silumin. The principle possibility of thixocasting of hypercutectic silumins with inverted structure is shown.
In the article there are examined the problems of using of impulse processing of different intensity for production of cast articles from aluminium alloys.
There is studied the possibility of refining of secondary aluminum alloys for the purpose of injurous iron additives reduction. There are determined the optimal concentrations of infused additive-nonsolvents at manganese and chrome filtration. In the process of carried out experiments there are established the dependence of initial iron and additive-nonsolvents content influence on technico-economic coefficients of refining process.
The article is dedicated to development of technologies of receiving and investigation of the structure, characteristics of composite materials of the system Al-Si-TiAl-SiC. The investigations are carried out on alloy AK12.
There are developed the composition and technology of high-strength aluminium cast iron production using cupola heat as an initial cast iron. New cast iron may be used for castings, which are to be of high oxidation, heat and growth resistance.
In the article there are given the results of investigation on important matter — cold-resistance of building steel 20 GL. There are given the explanations of effects occurring in steel during the process of thermal treatment at changing of its chemical composition.
The temperature fields and thermal stresses in metallic moulds for production of aluminium and copper ingots were measured and calculated. The chemical composition of high-strength cast iron for moulds was suggested.
There is summerized the experience of slugs production for the running system of automobile engines from high- test cast iron of mark VCh-40. There is shown, that graphitizing processing of melt by blend modifier on the basis of active carbon and silicon alows to elevate considerably the plastic characteristics of VCh, produced by modification in mould.

There is examined the construction of bowl for sphereoidizing processing and pouring of cast iron, allowing to produce castings from VCh from cast iron both of induction smelting and cupola heat.
In the article there is offered the method of development and reconstruction of casting houses and their subsystems, based on using of the procedure of system analysis, theory of reliability, hierarchical structure of graph theory, probabalistic automatons, mathematical and simulation technique. For the first time in foundry production practice there is offered such mathematical model, which allowed to link the reliability parameters of equipping functioning with the usable technology, to create the optimal structures of casting houses subsystems.
Ecology
In the experience there is examined the problem of clarification of discharge from melting furnaces, there is being analyzed the existing situation on the most of Belarusian enterprises and are offered the ways of solution of this problem, including the measures on optimization of melting process and modernization of operating furnaces and also the creation of purification systems.

Metallurgy
There is developed and solved the mathematical model of dissolving process of burden in three-dimensional production, allowing for the peculiarities of modem technologies of steel melting in arc steel-making furnaces.
There are presented and analyzed the data on determination of mechanical characteristics (solidity and plasticity) taking into account their dependence on temperature for alloyed steel grades for the purpose of further use for calculations of thermostressed condition.
On the basis of mathematical modelling of thermal and thermostressed condition of slugs during continuous casting there is studied the fact of metal embrittlement in the interval of temperatures of structure conversions. Contraction of metal and the so-called '^plasticity undershoot” is used as a criterion of steel embrittlement.
There is developed and introduced the new technology of cord steels production with metal processing by slags of certain constitution and carbon deoxidation at vacuum degasing, that allowed to reduce the pollution of steel with nonmetallics.
There are given the results of experimental studies on temperature indication of the uninterruptedly-costed slugs at their heating from cold and hot fit with pacing beams and pacing hearth of RUP “Belarrusian metallurgical works”.
In the article there is examined the problem of application of the conformal maps method at the projection of the foundry processes auxiliaries. There is given the solution of the problem of Stefan for more typical configurations of design field at projection of discard heads and outside chiller.
At using of method of equivalent sources there is received the decision for heating of prismatic ingot by ray. The comparison with the results of numerical solution of the problem and the existing exact methods has shown the satisfactory convergence of qualities.
There are examined the different aspects of possible use of the drawing friction force reserve at continuous sorted rolling.
In the Institute of ferrous metallurgy of the National^ Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine there is developed the new technology, provided for application of electric energy of I low capacity, which allows to use more fully the potential capabilities of melting processes and out-of-fumace processing of metal. There is established the essential improvement of \ converter melting indices as regards of resource economy, heightening of tank heat content, lowering of sulfur, phosphorus, nitrogen, oxygen content in melt, and also improvement of \ ecological indices of the process. There is shown the possibility of increase of degree of metal refining from detrimental impurities at dipper processing.
