It is shown that with real drawing-down coefficients used in stand finishing blocks at hot rolling of steel wire rod the rolling speeds when metal can break in strand exit plane are impossible to reach in practice. At rolling of nonferrous wire rod in existing blocks of finishing stands it is necessary to take into account influence of dynamic effect in the deformation centre and to define maximum rolling speed securing solidness of metal at its exit from stands.
On the basis of investigation results analysis it's been^ established that influence of mass forces on the moment arm coefficient with rolling speed of up to 150 m/s at exit from the block must be taken into account in the last two or three block stands; joint influence of interst and efforts and mass forces on the coefficient of moment arm mostly affects odd block stands, which must be considered while calculating power rolling parameters.
