Antifrictional silumin which excels traditional bronzes in mechanical and tribotechnical properties is developed. ecologically safe casting technology of billets of 30–300 mm in diameter of antifrictional silumin is created. their cost is 2–3 times lower than that of similar bronzes. the new technology is introduced in manufacture in the republic of Belarus.
The approach to measure defect of mill products during their rolling is considered. the performance of supposed scheme is analyzed for real time conditions.
The new method of continuously iterative casting of hollow cylindrical castings from cast iron without application of core, based on the principle of direction of metal solidification is presented in the work. the thermal condition of crystallizer at iterative temperature influences on its internal surface and solidification of casting in the conditions of intensive one-way heat sink and presence of constant overheat on front of solidification is examined.

Metallurgy
The analysis of directions of metal cord constructions developments depending on the place of application in tires of different function is carried out. the requirements to metal cord, which are necessary to be taken into account at development of its new type, are given. the peculiarities of perspective types of reinforcing agents for tires, and also advantages of new types of metal cord over the existing ones are shown.
It is shown that one of the perspective types of metal cord for breaker layer of automobile tires are the constructions with maximal degree of rubber compound penetration at vulcanization. the constructions and technologies of metal cord productions with full rubber penetration (FrP) already in the process of treatment into rubber-cord cloth are developed at RUP “BMZ”.
The different types of wire fiber are considered, advantages of fiber of high-modular wire with heightened bending stiffness are shown. analysis by volumes of fiber production in the world is carried out. Peculiarities of fiber production at RUP «BMZ» are shown. recommendations on correlation «wire diameter-fiber length» are given for different types of fiber for prevention of fiber caking at production of fibrous concrete are given.
Influence of bainite structure on mechanical characteristics of wire of steel 80 after patenting is investigated. the quantity and structural state of bainite, providing high complex of mechanical characteristics of high-carbon wire, is determined.
The influence of temperature and time parameters of thermal treatment on structural change and properties of carbon chromium molybdenum steel has been studied. It has been shown that there are considerable areas with grainy morphology of cementite after high temperature tempering in the structure of steel. It assures reduction of steel microhardness by 25%, and there are no substantial structural changes after medium temperature tempering.
The results of mathematical modeling of the heat exchange processes in the furnaces with mechanized bottom (of mills 850, 320, 150 furnaces) of Belorussian metallurgical works are given in the present articles.

Analysis of modern tendencies of development of high-speed twisting machines for hardware branch is carried out. the presented review shows that development of perspective types of equipment for production of strands, cables and metal cord is not finished and creation of highefficiency and economical twisting machines is being continued.
The improved technology of production of reinforcement no 20 using the developed table of calibration enabled to increase the stability of rolling process due to elimination of technological metal canting in intermediate train and to improve efficiency of mill 320.
The mathematical model of the multivariate regression analysis carrying out is presented. Its practical application for rolled production is examined. Analysis of the model adequacy is carried out.
It is determined that during operation a hard wear along with uniform attrition occurs in working canal of die because of welding of metal particles to the material of die, what results in formation of separate microholes, their enlargement and further defect creation of type “micropitting of hard alloy”.
Analysis of injection technologies shows that the largest prevalence they got d at application on powerful electric arc furnaces and at out-of-furnace processing of big volumes of metal. at the same time theoretical and experimental basis of using of injection technologies is constantly being replenished with new investigations.

The distribution of accidents in by areas of casthouses, by professions of injured persons, by age and work experience of injured persons, by reasons of traumatism is given. the dynamics of occupational traumatism in foundry in whole and in casthouses of steel, cast-iron and of nonferrous castings as well is shown.
