The actual problem of production of long products in bars at the current production of mill 370/150 of OJSC «BSW – Management Company of the Holding «BMC» is considered, a brief technological model of obtaining long products in bars is given, an algorithm for determining the optimal cutting of long products is developed. The developed algorithm will help to reduce the cost of production per one ton and increase the competitiveness of the company’s products. The mechanism of formation of rods of non – dimensional length, which in turn significantly affect the consumption coefficient of metal in production, is revealed.
Rolling rings as an important element of the rolling mill belong to the category of replaceable equipment, the quality of performance of which affects a number of operational characteristics, as well as the quality of rolled products. The material from which the rolling ring of the stand No. 7 is made must have the appropriate properties capable of perceiving high thermal loads for a long period of time without destruction, chipping and significant development of calibers. In this regard, there is a need to select the optimal option for the manufacture of rolling rings that can withstand such loads for a sufficiently long period of time. The study of the causes of destruction of the rolling ring 450×242×100 mm of high-speed steel, used at OJSC «BSW – Management Company of the Holding «BMC» in the cage number 7 mill 150 rolling shop. The results of metallographic studies of the microstructure and chemical composition of fragments of the destroyed rolling ring are presented. A detailed study and comparative analysis of the chemical composition and microstructure of samples of similar rings made of high-speed steel from two different suppliers, which showed high results in durability during operation, was carried out.

The results of the study. The influence of the roughness parameter of the bore rims on manufacturing quality dies was defined.
One of the important tasks is to deliver to the consumer a calibrated high-quality metal in a saleable condition, which requires protection from atmospheric corrosion and adverse climatic factors, protection from contamination and mechanical damage for the period of transportation to the consumer by motor transport, and storage at intermediate warehouses before going into production. A comprehensive system approach is needed to preserve the quality and appearance of the products on the way from the manufacturer to the consumer. The use of modern packaging materials, such as paper with corrosion inhibitor and polypropylene fabric reinforcement, will allow to obtain permanent guaranteed protection of the rolled surface and expands the possibilities of transportation and sales markets of metal products. The testing stage of the corrosion inhibitor included the determination of its protective properties. It is established that the advantage of packaging of rolled products in anticorrosive paper is that it, combining the functions of packaging means and means of preservation, allows you to completely abandon the expensive and time-consuming preservation of metal products with oils and greases. The use of a volatile corrosion inhibitor in the composition of the paper provides full protection of rolled products.
In a market economy, increasing the competitiveness of steel products is an urgent trend in science and practice. Development of production of new pipe steels in terms of pipe-rolling plant open joint-stock company «BSW – management company of holding «Belarusian metallurgical company» casted on continuous casting machine, was complicated by the emergence of low-alloy pipe steel grades of internal defects, which negatively affects the quality of the pipes. Visual evaluation of samples on the inner surface revealed rolled defects significant clusters, close to each other, having a longitudinal orientation. The edges of the defects are tortuous, torn. Defects found on the inner surface of the pipes are characterized as steel melting captivity and swelling. The reason for the formation of internal defects of hot rolled pipes «steel-melting captivity and swelling» was the rolling of defects in the macrostructure of the central zone (central porosity and axial liquation) of a continuously cast workpiece with a diameter of 200 mm.

It is implemented in the process and forms of recruitment, contract terms, the system of remuneration and incentives, training and is the foundation of any organization, largely determining its competitiveness.
The article deals with issues related to the work of OJSC “BSW Management Company of the Holding “BMC” with suppliers. Information on the developed concept of stakeholders between supplier and consumer is given. The types and structure of the procurement process are described, the gradation of the material in the procurement process is carried out. The method of evaluating supplier, starting with the calculation of the quality index of the material supplied, depending on the ratio value of the type of inconsistencies discussed logistics, but also on the basis of partnership relations provides information on the assessment of loyalty of the supplier. The report is also based on the developed activities, 8D, i.e. 8 step-by-step actions to eliminate inconsistencies. Perception of the supplier-consumer relationship is evaluated.
Сonsiders the possibility of analyzing samples of small diameters without the use of special adapters for determining the chemical composition on spectrometers. Measurements are limited to the size of the hole on the analytical table, which is 12 mm. Accordingly, all analyzed samples must have a diameter of at least 14 mm to completely cover the sample cover of the discharge chamber in order to avoid air entering the chamber. The company manufacturer of spectral equipment offers to use special adapters for the analysis of small samples. But the use of such adapters has a number of drawbacks. These include additional cash costs for the purchase of adapters, the need for additional standardization procedures, the availability of special reference samples. In the laboratory of analytical support (LAS) of the Central Laboratory of the Factory (CLF), all samples of finished rolled products (wire rods or fittings) in size from 5.5 mm to 20 mm are prepared in the form of «blades». The compressed part of the «blade» is the analyzed surface of the sample, which is further processed on a disk grinder and transmitted to the spectral analysis. The article presents the results of comparative tests of valves class U500 between samples in the form of «blades» and in the form of «columns» and concluded that the necessity of use of special adapters.
In this study, we investigated the kinetics of extraction from aqueous solutions of Fe3+, Cu2+ and Pb2+ by filter loadings, derived from the steelmaking slags. A formal kinetic approach based on the relationship between the relative deposition rate (α) and time (τ) was used to estimate the mechanism and kinetic parameters of the deposition process). From the set of equations are selected those that in a given region of the degree of completion of the process gave the minimum value of the variance, that is, described the process in the system at this stage with the maximum probability. Three models that best correspond to real processes are selected. It was found that the deposition process at the initial stage limits the chemical stage of nucleation (formation of crystalline precipitate), then – the reaction at the interface (formation of a continuous layer of reaction products on the surface of the nuclei), and at the final stage – the growth of a continuous layer of reaction products.
Foundry
The ways to improve the efficiency of foundries of the Republic of Belarus are presented. The list of the basic enterprises which activity is focused on increase of knowledge intensity of a gross product, reception of a final product with high added value is resulted. Plans of loading of production capacities of the basic organizations for the period till 2030, investment projects and actions for new construction and modernization of their foundries are considered. The main provisions of the development program of foundries of the Republic of Belarus for 2017-2030, its goals and objectives are presented.
The article considered the stages and the directionы of modernization of foundry production of BelOMA MMW named after S.I.Vavilov Public Corporation. The article described the activities, allowing to produce high-quality and competitive products.
Nanoscale particles (1 nm = 10-9 m), entered into the melt, allow to obtain castings from iron-carbon and non-ferrous alloys with a homogeneous fine-grained structure in different sections. The use of nanomaterials changes the modes of consolidation of components of composite castings, increases the stability of technological processes, and provides technological reliability of cast parts. The control of the castings structure in the presence of nanoparticles is achieved by the presence of a physical interface with the liquid phase, which determines the heterogeneous crystallization mechanism.
Science of materials
Experimental estimates of the strength properties of a composite material based on carbon steel 45, created by piercing matrix steel in the mode of superdeep penetration by streams of powder particles, have been performed. Pulsed dynamic action by streams of powder particles and subsequent heat treatment converts steel into a fiber composite material.
The effects of cold air plasma influence on the change in the microstructure, stress state and texture of the cathode nickel brand H-1 were studied. By the method of target metallography it has been established that the microstructure does not change under exposure to the cold air plasma. A decrease in the level of micro- and macrostress is shown. By the method of inverse pole figures it has been established that the pole density of the orientations (111), (200) and (311) decreases when exposed to plasma; orientation (311) changes the least intensively. The pole density of the orientation (220) increases from 4.42 in the initial state to 13.3 after plasma treatment, which means an increase in the electrolytic deposition texture. The causes of the observed effects are being discussed. It is assumed that the changes introduced by the plasma occur at a scale level that is much smaller than the size of the coherent scatter blocks.
The material, obtained in reactor, is a composition, consisting of a copper matrix of microcrystalline type with the borders of grains, stabilized by disperse particles of strengthening phases in the size of less than 20 nanometers. It is established, that the application of oxide nitrogen N2O as the technological environment at mix material processing in reactor activates the oxidationreduction transformations, which take place in mechanically alloyed compositions on the basis of system Cu–Al–CuO–MoO3, that leads to decrease in concentration of aluminium in a copper-based solid solution and, as a consequence, increases electrical conductivity of the material by 14 %, reaching values of 80 % from electrical conductivity of copper. It is shown, that the developed material is characterized by high stability against long thermal influence at the temperatures, reaching 0, 85 of temperatures of a basis fusion, which is explained by its structure.
